TrackLock is a tool to support rights management and AI-permission decisions — not a replacement for legal counsel or a substitute for government copyright registration.

• TrackLock registration is not a government copyright registration and does not independently establish legal ownership of a recording or composition.
• A fingerprint match indicates audio similarity, not proof of infringement. Decisions returned by the verification API are recommendations for the platform to act on, not legal determinations.
• No fingerprinting or matching system can guarantee detection of every possible transformation — heavy remixing, extreme pitch/tempo changes, or re-performance can reduce match confidence.
• TrackLock does not perform full global royalty accounting, automated sync licensing, or guaranteed protection against every AI training dataset.
• First-registration time is a useful signal but is never treated as final proof of ownership when a conflicting claim is filed.
• Verification tiers reflect the strength of supporting evidence supplied, not a government or judicial determination of ownership.
